I’m honored to share that Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store at Casey Jones Village has been named one of the Top 10 Buffet Restaurants in America by USA TODAY 10Best, marking our fourth consecutive year ranking in the nation’s Top 10, and our second year in a row holding the No. 4 spot nationally.

This recognition is a meaningful milestone for our business, and it’s a reflection of the fantastic team that makes up the Old Country Store in Casey Jones Village. Jackson, Tennessee continues to prove it belongs on the map alongside the nation’s most celebrated travel and dining destinations, and I’m grateful to be part of a hospitality and tourism community, across Tennessee and beyond, that helps make that possible.

I’d also be foolish not to mention how much of this success traces back to mentorship and friendship. Over the years, so many of you have helped my family by offering guidance, sharing hard won lessons, and simply showing up as friends, and that kind of generosity has shaped this business as much as any marketing plan or menu decision ever could. A milestone like this one belongs, in part, to the people who helped us: people like you. 

I want to take this opportunity to genuinely thank each of you for your continued support of our business, whether through policy work, advocacy, partnership, mentorship, or simply championing what we do at Old Country Store and Casey Jones Village. Sixty years in, that support means more than I can fully express, and it’s a privilege to keep building something worth visiting, and worth talking about, together.
